Our community
We encourage colleagues and advisers to volunteer in the community, which includes allowing all colleagues a fully paid day each year to support a charitable or community project of their choice.
In addition to that support, The Openwork Foundation embodies our efforts to give back to the communities in which we operate, and to those further afield.
The Openwork FoundationWe recognise the issues caused by a lack of financial wellbeing across the UK.
We believe that everyone is entitled to enjoy financial wellbeing, no matter what their circumstances.
We are committed to improving the lives of those we serve, including by improving financial wellbeing amongst the communities in which we operate (through, for example, the provision of financial education).
Insuring Women’s Futures is a market initiative established by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to promote and enhance the profession’s role in relation to women and risk.
We are a proud signatory to the CII’s Insuring Women’s Futures pledge. This commits us to an inclusive ‘whole customer approach’. We work to ensure that at every customer interaction point we help people make financial decisions that empower them to achieve positive outcomes by considering all life circumstances.
This is necessary for all individuals but particularly significant for women who can be financially disadvantaged by disrupted careers, interrupted work cycles and flexible working patterns.
Since 2018, we have held ‘Inspiring Women in Financial Services’ conferences which focus on recruitment strategies to better engage with women on opportunities in the financial services sector.
